Once again the weather cooperated well during the August 24 and 25 Spettacolo at the Zandvoort circuit. Central theme of the Spettacolo this time was the celebration of the 100th anniversary of design house and coachbuilder Zagato. Consequently, there were plenty of Zagato cars to admire such as the 6C 1750, Junior Z, the various versions of the Giulietta Sprint Zagato and Tubolare Zagato, SZ and RZ.

The Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este had been on my wish list to visit for years. On Sunday 26 May, the time had come and I must say it was the most beautiful concours I have ever visited. The participating cars were very exclusive and the concours was well organised. Partly because of the fantastic location on Lake Como, the concours exuded style and class. It is therefore worth repeating. Here are some pictures of the participating Alfa Romeos.

This time, unlike last year, beautiful weather during the Spettacolo held on 25 and 26 August. Due to the 40th anniversary of the SCARB, the club had organised a big event. There was a club parade in which a wide variety of classic and modern Alfas drove around the track, and many foreign guests were invited, who were present with various special Alfas.

Despite the bad weather on 20 August 2017, I still went to Assen to see if there was anything interesting to see. What immediately caught my eye was the A12 ladder truck. Nice to see. Also spotted a nice first series Giulia TI and of course the rare TZ2.
